You have been wondering for a while now what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, This Try Dive is for you. We offer this at our dive centre in our pool. While not a scuba certification course, Try Dive is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. To sign up for a free Try Dive, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health and have some basic swimming skills. Are you ready to try it out?
There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time. It takes a little getting used to but after a few minutes of awestruck wonder, most participants realize how easy scuba diving really is. The biggest challenge for SCUBAVERSITY is coaxing Try Diving participants out of the water when the Dive is over.
You learn the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. One thing you'll learn is that you really can breathe underwater and whether you like doing that or not.

All the equipment you will need is included in a Try Scuba Diving experience. You'll use all the basic scuba gear including a mask, a buoyancy compensating jacket (BCD) that carries your weights and scuba tank, a scuba regulator to breathe from, and instrumentation to monitor depth and air supply.

To take participate in the Try Scuba Diving program you must be at least 10 years old. and have some basic Swimming Skills.
Once you complete a Try Scuba Diving program, you'll want to check out the Open Water Diver certification course.
